At Centro de Salud you will find medical services designed especially for you.

Dr. Edgar Maldonado and the entire staff understand and respect your culture and beliefs. You can be comfortable talking about anything that concerns you. And we all speak Spanish.

Dr. Maldonado specializes in adult general internal medicine. He believes strongly in preventive care, so he will explain what you can do to stay as healthy as possible. And of course, he is compassionate and caring when you are sick.

Dr. Maldonado can provide most of the care you need, right in his office. If he thinks that you need to see a specialist, he will recommend a doctor you will feel comfortable with. Even if you need to see a specialist, Dr. Maldonado will always be your primary doctor—the one you see most of the time.

Dr. Edgar Maldonado
A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Edgar Maldonado moved to the Lehigh Valley in 2001. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico and received his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Dr. Maldonado completed his residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital and is board-certified in internal medicine. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Penn State College of Medicine.
